As I mentioned in my previous comment, look over all your path/type settings and make sure everything appears to be set correctly. If your settings seem ok, but it still isn't working I would recommend resetting your Photoshop preferences.
This can be done by holding Ctrl-Alt-Shift in Windows (Command-Option-Shift on a Mac), then opening Photoshop. Right after the blue Photoshop splash screen comes up it will ask if you want to delete your Photoshop preferences. Click yes and all Photoshop options will be set to default.

I have done this in the past, but now when I create a path and put my Text tool cursor over it, I cannot get the PATH TYPE cursor to appear. It's like it not detecting there is a path there. Any help? Thanks.

The bitrate directly effects the quality of your video. The higher the bitrate value, the less the video will be compressed (resulting in higher quality video, but larger filesize). For example, the Blueray format maxes out at around 40,000kbps, which is responsible for it's amazing quality, but huge filesize. In comparison, a typical low quality video you'll find on YouTube may be around 400kbps.

ok thank you, one silly question, how will it benefit me to increase the bitrate? meaning what good does it do to the video?

I don't have an Evo to test with although I might soon. The width of the video should be 640px wide, so the full resolution of the screen is used. As for the height, it should be adjusted proportionality. An HD frame scaled down to 640px wide will have a height of 360px, so I would use that as a starting point. In addition, the Evo has a more powerful CPU than the Hero or Eris and you could probably turn up the Average Bitrate from 384 to higher number (assuming you're not concerned with file sizes getting larger).

I believe it's still possible to achieve this in Windows 7, however Microsoft has removed functionality making it harder. When I moved to Windows 7 I found Google Apps Standalone, which essentially installs Chrome application shortcuts for each Google service (mail, docs, etc). You can download it here http://pack.google.com/intl/en/pack_installer.htm...
Also there's Google Toolbar, which can set Gmail as the default mail client, and there's Gmail Notifier http://toolbar.google.com/gmail-helper/notifier_w...
Alternatively, if you're in Firefox you could also edit your settings (about:config in the address bar). I was able to edit the default Gmail url so it opened with Google Apps rather than Gmail.
I would recommend avoiding registry editing, but there's various threads on Google help about what values to add/modify.

Check your typography settings and make sure the font size isn't too big or small. Also check to make sure your baseline shift isn't set to a high value. Lastly make sure your path is simple, even just a straight line until you get it working. If that doesn't do it, open both the Paragraph and Character windows. On the top right of the palette there's the flyout menus (down arrow with 4 horizontal lines). Both windows will have reset options in those menus. From what you're describing I'm guessing the issue maybe be with your typography settings in Photoshop.

Thanks for all the info. I have an Eris and those settings work perfect. The only two things I changed were to keep the frame rate same as source and use mixed references.
